The Way This Golden Retriever Tries to Solve a Doggy Door Is Melting Hearts
What a smart cookie! Learning to use the doggy door isn't the easiest. It can take a little practice. Which is something that one Golden Retriever pup quickly realized when she tried to bring home a prize she found outside. The dog worked so hard to bring the stick in! But it took a few tries to get there, much to the internet's delight.
Sally is the most curious puppy. She loves exploring the world. But the Golden needed a little help when it came time to bring her treasures home.

If you know anything about dogs, it's that they love sticks. It's that soft, chewy texture that they love. It feels good to gnaw on and hold in their mouths. So it makes total sense that the dog was determined to keep the perfect stick she found. The only problem was figuring out how to get it through her doggy door!

This was definitely a scenario where practice makes perfect. At first, the Golden Retriever tried walking through the door with the stick in her mouth. No dice! It was too big to fit through the narrow opening. So she dropped it on the ground and had to regroup.
The second time was definitely the charm for the pup. She realized that if she turned her little head, she could get the stick through with no sweat!
