Kittens Returned for Being 'Too Mischievous' Are Still Looking for Their Forever Home
Adding a new pet to your family is a huge commitment-if the animal in question is young, you're agreeing to care for them for at least a decade, if not longer. It's a big decision, and one that certainly shouldn't be taken lightly.
Unfortunately, that means some people realize that caring for a pet isn't the right choice for them after already bringing their new baby home, and that seems to be what happened to this brother-and-sister duo of kittens who are now back to square one when it comes to finding their forever home.
@heidiwranglescats I get it, kittens are not for everyone. They can be messy, they can get the zoomies at 3am. And I am grateful that Panda and Zebra are back with us for a chance at finding a home that truly appreciates them. Because yes kittens can bring chaos, but they also bring joy. They're 3.5 months old now, and honestly we have a tough time finding applicants for our pairs of kittens once they're older than 10 weeks. Because sadly the younger they are, the more adoption interest they garner. But Panda and Zebra are SO sweet and friendly and deserving of a forever home. So please, let's spread the word to find them their real forever home . More about them and application in my bio. #catrescue#adoptdontshop
Another Year - Andrew Gialanella
Heidi, a cat rescuer based in Brooklyn, New York, shared in a video on TikTok that two kittens named Zebra and Panda had been returned to her after their adopters realized they were "too mischievous."
It does make me wonder if they knew anything about kittens at all, since basically all kittens are mischievous... and these two seem to be particularly adorable about it!
It's so sad, but as Heidi said in her video, it really is for the best-since they realized pretty quickly that being kitten parents wasn't for them, Zebra and Panda will be able to get back to finding their true forever home.

More About Adopting Panda and Zebra
Unfortunately, Panda and Zebra are still available for adoption. But if you've fallen in love with their mischief and can get to Brooklyn, it's definitely worth reaching out to Heidi.
According to their Petfinder profile, the kittens must be adopted together. They are about 3 months old and are spayed and neutered, and both kitties have been fully vaccinated.
Describing Zebra as a "ringleader," the description says that he's "outgoing with a healthy dose of kitten mischief, super friendly and never phased."
And as for Panda? She's "equally as playful" as her brother, but "when she's ready for some downtime, her favorite place to be is in your lap or on your shoulder. She is super cuddly and loves her people."
They really are two beautiful kittens, and whoever ends up with them as part of their family is going to be very lucky. They might be mischievous, but that just adds to the fun!
