Dog rescuer and shelter volunteer @stacifosters has helped dozens-perhaps hundreds-of animals find their forever homes, but a recent rescue from a dog hoarding situation has her viewers glued to their screens. She originally found the Texas hoarding house in early June, and after building trust with the property owners, negotiated the release of three German Shepherds and two Jack Russell Terriers.

The 5 dogs rescued from the hoarding situation immediately settled down in Staci's car, as if they knew they were finally safe, and the dog rescuer's viewers felt like they could finally breathe. The rescue dogs are finally on their way to living their very best lives!

we were able to rescue 5 dogs today from a neglectful situation all of them will go in to good foster homes until they are adopted. We plan on getting them vet appointments for vaccines and getting them spayed & neutered. If you are wanting to help, please consider donating, any amount is much appreciated! #dogrescue#rescuedogsoftiktok#savedogs#helpdogs#adoptdontshop

It's such a relief to know that these resilient rescue dogs will never be hungry, scared, or uncomfortable ever again. The conditions they lived in were sparse, to say the least, and it's clear their previous family didn't care for them nearly as much as they claimed. Five dogs is already a lot for one person to handle, but there are 20 dogs living on this property.

"Way to build a relationship and trust with the owners so you could free them," one commenter praised. "Thank God for your perseverance. Hopefully, with a little more time, the other 15 rescue dogs will join their friends in loving foster homes, thanks to Staci.

Later that day, Staci returned to the property to look for the two remaining German Shepherds, who'd been hiding from the chaos. Although they were shy, they were just as grateful to be rescued.

5 dogs saved and are currently in their foster homes getting lots of space to decompress, cozy beds to sleep in and are all already so loved we will be getting them vet appointments this upcoming week and then they will be ready for adoption! Once these pups are adopted and we have fosters available, we will go back to save as many of the others as we are able to. If you'd like to donate towards their care the link is in my bio #dogrescue#rescuedogsoftiktok#savedogs#helpdogs#adoptdontshop

Commenter @jaynaleereenie said what everyone was thinking when she wrote, "I can't wait for the ones in crates to be rescued." It's only a matter of time! Once these five foster dogs have found their forever homes, she plans to return to the property to rescue as many more dogs as possible.

Dogs Rescued From Hoarding

Dog hoarding happens when someone has more dogs in their possession than they can legally and practically care for. In many cases, the person hoarding them may be well-meaning, with a deep emotional attachment to them, but no amount of emotion makes it ok to keep a dog in such a small, confined space.

Many of the dogs on this Texas property don't leave their kennels, even to play, so they'll need plenty of time to decompress and adjust once they're finally in a safe home. This may look like sleeping for days on end, hiding under the bed, or becoming attached to a person they feel safe with.

Staci knows that hoarding can be a delicate situation, and she met the property owners with the kindness and grace that everyone deserves. I can hardly wait for her hard work to pay off and for the rest of the rescue dogs to be safe!
