Nothing can get in the way of a dog and their favorite human-not even a work shift. That's exactly what happened to one adorable cane corso, David, who went to Target to hang out with his favorite worker ever. Even though this Target worker was busy working the register, Dave couldn't care less about corporate rules; he just wanted some cuddles.

To make things even better, David's favorite Target employee is also a big fan of the giant dog, making it just one endless circle of love. Even though David's cuddle time isn't in the employee handbook, we can be sure that most customers at this store are more than thrilled to see this gentle giant's smile while waiting in line.

Standing off to the side like a good boy, this cane corso impatiently waited for his favorite Target worker to notice him. After what likely felt like forever, the Target employee finally noticed the gentle giant patiently waiting for his cue to run behind the counter to gather his cuddles.

While helping his customers, the Target worker gave David, also known as Dave, some good old pats and scratches. Sometimes, taking care of his own leash, Dave made sure always to be keen about his surroundings and not get into too much of a mishap. Even after cuddling up with his favorite Target employee, Dave still took some time to get well-earned scratches from customers waiting in line.

This is just another case of a dog remembering their favorite human, even if they haven't seen them in time. In the comments section, many were both charmed and amazed by Dave's well-mannered presence and the way the gentle giant made sure to be careful as he maneuvered around so many people.

"Corsos are very selective who they like so this guy must be a good human to want to say hi," noted one user,

Another commenter added, "doggo looks at dad then barks we need to go and get some supplies whilst I greet my favourite worker there."

"What a beautiful majestic furbaby," summarized another viewer.

Although dogs tend to have limited short-term memory, research suggests they can remember their favorite humans for years. This means that not only does this cane corso enjoy a good trip to Target like the rest of us, but he also considers this worker one of his favorite humans ever.
