Make plans now: These Triangle restaurants and bakeries are serving up Easter specials

As Triangle diners and restaurants continue to emerge from the pandemic way of life, Easter brunch this year looks to be a blend of in-person and takeout meals.

From iconic honey-glazed hams to smoked prime rib to baking feats like panettone, here are some of the holiday specials local restaurants are serving up for Easter.

Angus Barn

This Raleigh steakhouse is serving a dine-in plated Easter meal from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The menu includes ham, shrimp and grits and beef tenderloin, with sides like mac and cheese and baked apples and dessert. The meal is $59 per person. The steakhouse’s regular menu will not be offered.

Bar Louie

Serving an Easter brunch menu, including $2 mimosas until 3 p.m.

Boston Market

There are two locations in Raleigh, serving take-home Easter meals including spiral ham, turkey or prime rib, with mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and dessert. Items are fully cooked and intended to be reheated or may be ordered hot. Meals can be picked up from April 13 to April 17.

Crossroads at the Carolina Inn

Offering a dine-in brunch buffet for $95 per person, with carving stations with ham and leg of lamb, seafood display, grits bar, waffles, short ribs and sides.

Guglhupf

This German bakery and cafe in Durham is taking orders for Easter special hot cross buns, French macarons, Guglhupf and Easter bunny challah. Orders must be placed by April 10.

Honey Baked Ham

With five locations in the Triangle, Honey Baked Ham is offering hams for delivery and pickup.

Offering Easter brunch breads, including Boston creme challah, hot cross buns, bunny bread and creme brulee French toast.

Longleaf Swine

Serving specials like smoked prime rib, smoked whole chickens and pulled pork, plus sides by the pound and deviled eggs by the dozen. The last day to order is April 13, with pickup Friday, April 15 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Metro Diner

Serving a take-and-bake meal for one, four or eight, ranging from $15 to $115, with choices including ham or turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, mac and cheese or cornbread stuffing and bread pudding.

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille

Serving a special dine-in meal from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a choice of smoked and glazed ham or prime rib. Family style takeout meals serving four people are also available, including sides, ham or prime rib and soup or salad for either $139 or $199. Meals can be picked up April 15-17.

Serving a special four-course Easter brunch menu for dine-in, including deviled eggs and pickles and options like strawberry and asparagus salad, braised lamb shank, honey-glazed ham steak with lemon meringue cake for dessert. The cost is $60 per person.

Located in Crabtree Valley Mall, offering family-style meals with options like cedar-roasted salmon, beef tenderloin and apricot glazed-ham. Prices range from $125 to $195, with pickup available April 16 between 11 a.m. an d4 p.m.

This Raleigh bakery is taking pre-orders for Easter breads, including blueberry and lemon panettone and hot cross buns. Orders can be placed starting April 7 and can be picked up starting April 12.
