These Triangle restaurants and bars are closing because of Tuesday’s bad weather

With severe storms and heavy rain hitting the Triangle on Tuesday afternoon and evening, many local restaurants are closing early or foregoing dinner service altogether.

We’ve compiled a running list of restaurants and bars we know that have closed for the evening, as well as local town and city councils who have called off scheduled meetings for the night. Stay safe out there.

Altered government schedules for Jan. 9

Apex Town Council meeting for Jan. 9 has been canceled. A special town council meeting will be held Friday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m.

Morrisville Town Council meeting for Jan. 9 has been canceled.

Raleigh City Council has canceled its 4 p.m. worksession and 7 p.m. public comment for Jan. 9.
