Sports bars are the satellites for fans far from home. Plus, football loves friends, and cheese fries were made for sharing.

There are official sports bars in the Triangle for just about every NFL team, offering ex-pats and exiles a place that feels like home.

The Super Bowl is this weekend in Las Vegas, with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers.

For the neutral fan, just about any bar will do, but for die-hards you don’t want to be holding your breath on fourth and one while someone next to you loudly debates the manliness of Jason Kelce versus Ron Swanson.

But at this point there are only two teams left that matter. These are the bars where you’ll be among friends.
