For teacher appreciation week, Chick-Fil-A is showing its gratitude to educators in a tasty way — with free food.

On Tuesday, May 7, Triangle locations of the fast food chain are offering teachers free lunch or breakfast.

Teachers can get a free sandwich or free four-piece chicken minis (the small chicken biscuits) by showing a school ID.

“Our teachers are heroes who make a bright future for students in our community possible,” said Chris Latta, local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A Capital Crossing and Chick-fil-A Falls Village, in a news release.

“This complimentary offer is a token of our appreciation for all they do each and every day.”
