Chick-Fil-A is set to unveil a new location in Raleigh this week
A new Chick-Fil-A location will hold its grand opening in Raleigh this week.
The chicken sandwich behemoth will unveil its latest Triangle restaurant June 27 at 4411 New Bern Ave., just outside the Raleigh Beltline.
The new Chick-Fil-A will be owned and operated by Raleigh native Donovan Carless Jr. This is the first Chick-Fil-A owned by Carless, who previously managed the Triangle Town Center location.
This is Raleigh’s 15th location for Chick-Fil-A, which continues to be a wildly popular fast-food option in the Triangle. Recently Chick-Fil-A has tested new menu items in the area, with the Pretzel Cheddar Club Sandwich being the latest this spring.
The new Chick-Fil-A will have a dedicated drive-thru line for mobile orders and the restaurant opening will add 125 new jobs.
As part of the opening, Chick-Fil-A is donating $25,000 to Feeding America, which will distribute the funds to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.
The restaurant has also picked 100 people it calls “Local Heroes” in Raleigh to receive a year’s worth of free Chick-Fil-A entrees.
The New Bern Avenue Chick-Fil-A will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. six days a week, with the chain famously closed on Sundays.
