One of the country’s most popular burrito places is about to open a new location in the Triangle.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, the fast-casual restaurant known for Mexican-inspired cuisine such as burritos, burrito bowls and tacos, is opening a new store in Johnston County, at 5596 Veterans Parkway.

Other Chipotle restaurants, such as the location on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary, have a Chipotlane. However, the Veterans Parkway restaurant, which Chipotle says is in Garner — one of the fastest-growing places in the country — will be the first Chipotle in the town with a Chipotlane.

The Chipotle at 12023 US-70 Business West in Clayton has a Chipotlane, but the location at 68 Eagle Wing Way in Garner does not.
