The JC Raulston Arboretum is offering a cast concrete leaf birdbath workshop from 1-3 p.m. Saturday.

Instructors Beth Jimenez and Amelia Lane will teach participants how to make a 12-inch to 15-inch concrete birdbath using leaf and fern fronds to create a beautiful and practical garden addition.

The class is limited to 12 people. It costs $55 for members and $65 for nonmembers. Fee includes all materials. Participants need a flat space in their car to transport their finished birdbath.

The class is at Lane’s residence. Directions will be provided prior to the workshop.
