Beginner Photo Hike

Come out and enjoy the early morning light, meandering along the power-line looking for some great shots of flora and fauna. This is NOT a technique program. Introduction to Calligraphy Workshop

As an introduction to the art of writing, this hands on session will help you look at letters in a new light and explore the possibilities in using a broad tip pen. Each student will need to bring a broad felt tip calligraphic pen (2.5mm suggested obtained at A C Moore/Michaels), ruler, pencil, and unlined white copier paper. 1-3 p.m. Aug. 8. $20. JC Raulston Arboretum Sunday Tour

Chainmaille Jewelry

Put vibrancy in your wardrobe as you learn the art of weaving your own chainmaille jewelry.
