Win ‘My Old Dog: Rescued Pets with Remarkable Second Acts’
Since November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month, there’s no better time for this beautiful book, “My Old Dog: Rescued Pets with Remarkable Second Acts.” The book is written by Laura T. Coffey with photographs by Lori Fusaro (and a foreword by Neko Case) and features 19 dog profiles, including Einstein, a shelter dog adopted by George Clooney; Jimmy Chee, a Greyhound rescued by a man on kidney dialysis; and Cullen, a retired service dog now doing therapy work. This is a substantial hardcover book that would be a great gift for a dog lover.
If you’d like to win our copy of “My Old Dog,” which is signed by Coffey and Fusaro, send an email to giveaway@newsobserver.com by midnight Tuesday (Nov. 17) and include your mailing address. Please put “Old Dog” in the subject line to be included in the random drawing.
