Meet two sisters who are bonded for life. They were found abandoned in a local park with their brother and father, who were rescued with them. These two Jersey Wooly mixes are very friendly and were raised by someone who handled them and gave them a lot of attention. They enjoy human attention and really don’t mind being picked up or handled. The Jersey Wooly breed itself is pretty rare and exotic and they tend to be very docile bunnies.
Since bunnies bond for life, the SPCA is asking that both Lisa and Kelly go to a home together. This is perfect for someone looking for a ready-made family! The two sisters keep each other company and are very content as long as they’re together – and as long as they have a full bowl of Timothy hay. Their long, luscious coats need to be groomed on a regular basis.
Bunnies make fantastic apartment pets. They can be litter-box trained like a cat, they don’t require a lot of room, and they are quiet.
Both bunnies have all their vaccines, wellness exams, spay surgeries and more (this is all included in the adoption fee of $70 for both). Whoever adopts these two sisters will be getting a really good catch!
