Win ‘Chicken Soup For the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog’

Nancy Emmick Panko of Fuquay Varina is one of the contributors to the new book “Chicken Soup For the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog” (Chicken Soup, $14.95). Panko wrote about her Labrador retriever, Onyx, who jumped into a river to save Panko’s daughter, who got a cramp while swimming.

There are 100 other similarly amazing – or just funny – stories about beloved family dogs.

If you don’t win our copy, you should buy one because royalties from the book go to The American Humane Association.

If you’d like to win “My Very Good, Very Bad Dog,” send an email to giveaway@newsobserver.com by midnight Tuesday (April 12) and include your mailing address. Please put “Good Dog” in the subject line of your email to be included in the random drawing. Only the winner will be notified.
