Shamrock is a strong, affectionate cat who loves to play. She was adopted from Alley Cats and Angels when she was 6 months old but was recently returned because, after a death in the family, her owner could no longer afford to care for her.

Shamrock, who also responds to the name Molly, is an active cat and an excellent jumper and catcher. She does not like to be picked up but will come to you and jump in your lap when she wants love and attention. She loves to have her jaw scratched and loves to be brushed. Shamrock loves to be in the same room as her people and will sleep on the bed with you at night.

Shamrock will sometimes dominate a more submissive cat. She does OK with dogs but really does not care for children.

June is National Adopt-A-Cat-Month – an excellent time to meet Shamrock.
