Charity Renee Lewis (Lankford)

Our beloved Charity passed away peacefully at the early age of 41, surrounded by love ones. She was born in Augsburg, Germany to her military parents and followed in their footsteps by serving 12 years in the Army. She later went on to work as an information technologist, using the skills she learned while in the military. Charity had many loves in her life. She loved her family and friends unconditionally, movie nights with her Mom, and her beloved dogs: Gizmo and Jewlz. Charity was preceded in death by her Grandparents Coegill & Claytie Lewis and her Aunt Linda Boahn. She is survived by her Mother Debbie Boahn Nichols of Raleigh; her Father Lionel Coegill Lewis & wife Patricia of Arizona; Brothers Jamie & wife Annette Lewis of Raleigh; Jesse & wife Allie Nichols of Louisburg; Sister Brianna Lewis of Arizona; loving cousin Emily Voliva of Raleigh; Stepsister Susannah Nichols of D.C. and Grandparents Charles and Joyce Boahn of Washington, NC, and many other family members and dear friends. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. at City of Oaks Crematorium, 4900 Green Rd., Raleigh, NC 27616.
