Dianna Noulis Callas

Dianna Noulis Callas, age 49, fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, July 22 in the loving arms of her husband at their home in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born on June 19, 1966 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is the daughter of James L. Noulis (deceased) and Alein Murie Morris of Raleigh. She is survived by her loving husband, George M. Callas of Atlanta; her mother, Alein Morris; sisters, Elaine Noulis and her sons, Henry and James Hobgood of Raleigh and Mary Noulis (Joel) and their son Michael Ryder of Holly Springs; step-mother, Roberta Asner Noulis and her daughters.

Dianna met the love of her life while attending Western Carolina University where she graduated with a Marketing Degree in 1992. Dianna was one who was very passionate about the things she loved to do such as her college fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi where she was vice-president, and her Carolina Hurricanes who she supported whole-heartedly and her cheering was heard by all leading them to win the Stanley Cup. She brightened everyone’s lives which revealed her love for her candles. She will be missed by many including a vast list of friends too large to mention.

The services will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church , 5000 Lead Mine Road in Raleigh – visitation on Sunday, July 26, 2015 6:00pm-8:00pm with the Trisagion at 6:30, funeral on Monday, July 27 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dianna Noulis Callas Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children’s Hospital by using this link to her St. Jude gift fund page to support their lifesaving mission. fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR/GiftFunds/GiftFunds?px=3543322&pg=personal&fr_id=39300
