Greensboro woman dies from injuries she suffered in a May 30 car crash

A Greensboro woman died Thursday after she was injured in a single-car crash May 30 on Battleground Avenue near Lake Brandt Court, authorities said Friday.

Patricia Eastburn Boswell, 70, was driving a Lexus SUV south on Battleground Avenue when she experienced a medical emergency and crashed her vehicle, Greensboro police said.

Boswell was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. Boswell died from complications of those injuries.

The Greensboro Police Department's crash reconstruction unit is investigating the crash.
