United Express plans 2 daily RDU-Denver roundtrips
United Express is launching two daily nonstop flights to Denver from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, which now has Denver service via Southwest.
By the time the new flights begin Sept. 13, United Express will be the third RDU airline flying to Denver. Frontier Airlines has said it will start RDU-Denver service on June 11.
The United Express flights will be operated by SkyWest using 76-seat E175 jets. They’ll leave RDU at 8:20 a.m., arriving in Denver at 10:19 a.m., and again at 4:10 p.m., arriving in Denver at 6:09 p.m.
The return flights leave Denver at 10:05 p.m., arriving at RDU at 3:35 p.m., and again at 5:20 p.m., arriving at RDU at 10:50 p.m.
United Airlines, of which United Express is a subsidiary, said ticket sales will start Saturday for the RDU-Denver flights, and also for new flights between Charlotte and Denver.
