First, Happy + Hale served its healthy fare from an electric golf cart and modified tricycle in downtown Raleigh. Next came a freestanding building on the city's South Fayetteville Street.
Now Happy + Hale is a chain, with the downtown Raleigh location, plus stores in Durham and Greenville, S.C. On Wednesday, June 27, Happy + Hale will open its fourth location, in Raleigh's North Hills. And here's a plus: The North Hills Happy + Hale will offer indoor seating for up to 50 diners, plus patio seating.
"We started Happy + Hale to help solve a simple question: Where can I get a quick, healthy meal?" said co-founder and CEO Tyler Helikson. "That's not an easy equation, but we're happy to help provide a solution, and we're thrilled to bring that solution to the North Hills community."
Happy + Hale offers salads and bowls, an all-day breakfast, smoothies and juices. In North Hills, it will also offer brunch on weekends, and it will serve coffees from Durham's Counter Culture Coffee and beers from Raleigh's Brewery Bhavana.
