Amazon Prime customers can now get home delivery of Whole Food groceries in Raleigh.

Whole Foods delivery through Amazon’s Prime Now service has started in Raleigh and Charlotte, and includes 36 other cites in the U.S.

According to a news release, Prime members can get produce, fresh meat, dairy, bakery and staples in as little as an hour through the company’s home delivery service. Some alcohol is also available for delivery.

Prime members already get discounts on some Whole Foods purchases. Amazon purchased Whole Foods Market, which specializes in natural and organic food, last summer.

You can order Whole Foods groceries through the Prime Now app, the Amazon Prime Now website, or from the Whole Foods website.

Two-hour delivery through Prime Now is free on orders of $35 or more, and one-hour delivery costs $7.99. The Whole Foods delivery service is available 8 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.

An Amazon Prime membership costs $119 per year and includes free shipping on most Amazon.com products plus streaming television, movies and music.
