The company stated that “the hiring initiative aims to increase Sheetz’s total employee count and number of full-time positions by creating and filling jobs at stores throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, West Virginia and North Carolina.”
Sheetz, recently named on the “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list by Fortune Magazine, opened its 100th North Carolina location this January in High Point.
Sheetz will be holding open interviews for full and part-time positions at each of its 589 locations across the eastern United States on Wednesday, March 27, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Stephanie Doliveira, vice president of human resources at Sheetz, said, “We are excited to bring additional employees into our family at Sheetz,” and “Sheetz is so much more than a job. It’s a place where people can connect, grow and have a fulfilling career.”
Sheetz operates a chain of convenience stores and coffee shops owned by the Sheetz family. The stores sell a mix of fast food and convenience store items, and nearly all of them sell gasoline as well. Its headquarters are in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
