Triangle developers will build over 200 luxury apartments in Holly Springs
A new luxury apartment community is in the works in Holly Springs from Raleigh-based developer Dominion Realty Partners and national real estate firm Kite Realty Group, in partnership with investment firm Amzak Capital Management.
The $44.8 million, 239-unit Holly Springs Apartments complex with an accompanying clubhouse will be built on an undeveloped 16 acres on the corner of New Hill and Old Holly Springs Apex roads. It’s directly adjacent to Holly Springs Towne Center, the town’s Target-anchored shopping center, which Kite Realty Group owns and operates.
Preliminary plans filed with the town call for four three-story apartment buildings with 460 parking spaces and outside recreational space.
“We are thrilled to be kicking off another project in the Triangle” said Chris Carlino, partner at Dominion Realty Partners, in a press release. “It is really amazing how much this area continues to change and grow, and we feel lucky to be a part of it.”
Holly Springs Apartments will feature “extensive green and sustainability concepts” and obtain a green designation from the National Association of Home Builders that qualifies energy efficiency, and water and resource conservation.
According to Dominion Realty Partners, the first phase of the apartments and the clubhouse will be finished in the fourth quarter of 2021. They could not be reached by phone or email for comment on starting price ranges for apartment units.
Plans for the complex were first filed last summer on land bought for $1.45 million in 2008, the Triangle Business Journal first reported.
Dominion Realty’s other properties in the Triangle include the recently completed 22-story First National Bank Tower in downtown Raleigh and other multifamily complexes.
