A retailer specializing in apparel for children is opening soon at a Durham mall.

Janie and Jack expects to debut at The Streets at Southpoint in Durham in late August, a senior customer care advocate with the company told The News & Observer in an email.

An opening is planned for Aug. 30, the representative said, but that date could change “for a number of reasons,” the Janie and Jack representative said.

This will be the popular retailer’s second Triangle location, joining a store at Raleigh’s Crabtree mall.

Founded in 2002, Janie and Jack sells clothing, accessories and shoes for boys and girls from newborn to size 8. Online, the retailer offers apparel up to size 18.
