One of the major warehouse clubs in the Triangle is changing its store hours ahead of the holiday season.

Sam’s Club, owned by Walmart, is giving shoppers more time to browse aisles.

Effective Sunday, Oct. 12, most Sam’s Club locations, including those in the Triangle, changed hours to 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, the company announced on its website.

The change was made “in response to overwhelming member feedback,” Sam’s Club wrote on its website.

Sam’s Club is the second major warehouse club to expand its hours this year. In June, Costco began allowing Executive Members to start shopping at 9 a.m., an hour before Gold Star members.

With the change, Plus members still get exclusive shopping access from 8-9 a.m. daily.
