The retailer is owned by UK-based JD Sports Fashion, which also owns Finish Line.
At JD Sports, customers can shop products from popular brands such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics and Hoka.
JD Sports will join retailers such as Champs Sports, Courtside, the forthcoming Dick’s House of Sport, Fabletics, Athleta, Foot Locker and Lululemon at Crabtree mall.

The Raleigh mall, which gets more than 8.7 million visitors annually, Crabtree said, is getting a new retailer this year.
Escapology, an escape room concept, is expected to open this spring. It will have 10 immersive games across a 4,600-square-foot space on the lower level.
One of the mall’s anchor tenants, Belk, is making changes to its Crabtree location.
- The men’s department will be moved to the same storefront that houses the women’s, kid’s and home departments. While not adding any square footage to the store, Belk will include upgraded fixtures to maximize space and utilize space that’s currently not used to house merchandise.
- Belk will have an in-store coffee and wine bar.
- The department store will get a “refined personal shopper studio.”
