The Historic Boylan Apartments along Hillsborough Street in Raleigh have been acquired for $6.3 million by a Chapel Hill real estate investment firm, according to Wake County property records.
Blue Heron Asset Management acquired the 55-unit complex, which dates back to 1935. The 1.3-acre site at 817 Hillsborough Street includes three apartment buildings and a parking lot.
The apartment complex is just the latest older community near downtown Raleigh to change hands.
Blue Heron owns a number of other properties in the Triangle, including apartment communities in Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh.
