See Raleigh’s most expensive ZIP codes for home values on this interactive map

The housing market might be cooling, but home prices aren’t budging much, data shows. That’s especially true for sought-after neighborhoods close to Raleigh’s downtown.

A new interactive map, powered by data from national real estate firm Zillow, shows the average home value for 36 ZIP codes in Raleigh and the greater Triangle.

The most expensive ZIP code in Raleigh was 27608, covering the Five Points and Oberlin communities north of downtown. Average home values there stood at $978,576 as of December 2022, up 10.45% year-over-year.

Behind that was the 27605 ZIP code, which includes Forest Park, formerly Cameron Park, with home values of $745,438, up 10% year-over-year.

Rounding out the top three: ZIP Code 27607 (West Raleigh), with home values of $679,106, up almost 11% year-over-year.

In all of the ZIP codes displayed, home values jumped by an average of almost 12% between December 2021 and December 2022.
