Interactive map: See how home values have changed for every Triangle ZIP code
The median home price in the Triangle slid to $385,000 in January – a 2.5% drop month-over-month.
But that’s still up 3.9% compared to the same time last year, according to the latest data from Triangle MLS.
Inventory is also on the rise. It’s a whopping 240% higher year-over-year.
Meanwhile, sales are down by 30% over that same period, the report said.
With more homes on the market and less competition, analysts say buyers have more bargaining power after two-plus years of sky-high home prices.
