The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services has been releasing daily counts of coronavirus cases and deaths by ZIP code since May 1.
The News & Observer’s map below shows the number of coronavirus cases and related deaths as well as the number of cases per 10,000 population. It’s searchable by ZIP code and city.
Case counts by ZIP code are based on the residence of the person tested. All data are preliminary and totals may change when a residence is verified.
