Man found dead in Durham parking lot; case ruled homicide
Police found a man dead in a parking lot on South Alston Avenue early Wednesday, and they said they are treating the case as a homicide.
He was identified as Jacob Kameron Secor, 24, of Durham in a statement issued by the department Wednesday afternoon. Secor had been shot, investigators said.
Police were dispatched to the area of the 200 block of the street, between Angier Avenue and East Pettigrew Street, shortly before 4:30 a.m., spokesman Wil Glenn said, and they found the man.
