Johnston County authorities say two teenagers were found dead at an Angier home Monday night after a suspected murder suicide.
Deputies responded to a home on Clayton Road in Angier about 5:30 p.m. Monday, following reports of a shooting at the residence, said the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
They found two 14-year-olds — a male and a female — dead. The male victim lived in the home, said Capt. Jeff Caldwell of the Sheriff’s Office.
The names of the teenagers have not been released. The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and the State Medical Examiners Office are investigating.

The bodies were found by the father of the male victim, Caldwell said.
The male student attended West Johnston High School and the female was homeschooled, according to Caldwell.
Neighbors on Clayton Road said the family in the home appeared to quiet, but happy.
“They always seemed like a super happy family,” said Cheyanne DeRosa, 18, a Wake Tech student who lives next door. “They were barbecuing a lot. They did a lot of stuff together.”
