Durham man arrested in stabbing death of Raleigh boyfriend, police say

Police in Raleigh have arrested a Durham man they say stabbed his boyfriend to death Wednesday morning.

Marcus Ni-Keith Jerkins, 24, was arrested by Raleigh police Friday and charged with murder, according to a news release.

Jerkins is accused of stabbing Terrell Boyette, 47, shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday. Police described it as a “domestic-related incident.”

When police responded in the 1500 block of Tivoli Court, officers found Boyette, who was taken to WakeMed where he died, investigators say.

Jerkins was being held in the Wake County jail.
