Gas prices soar past $4 per gallon in NC. This map shows you where it’s cheapest.

Gas prices are increasing across the country, with prices in North Carolina exceeding $4 per gallon in many counties on Tuesday.

The national average for a gallon of regular gas stood around $4.17 Tuesday, per AAA. (A gallon of mid-grade was roughly $4.46, Premium $4.74 and Deisel $4.76.)
