Want to watch the UNC-Duke game at the Smith Center or Cameron Indoor? Here’s how.

The North Carolina Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils are facing off Saturday in the Final Four, marking the first time the archrivals will meet in the NCAA basketball tournament.

If you can’t attend in person in New Orleans and want something more exciting than watching at home, there are various watch parties in the area, including at the home courts of both UNC and Duke. Only one of those will be open to the general public, though.

Here’s what to know about watching the Final Four game at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Dean E. Smith Center and Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium.

How to attend watch party at UNC Dean Smith Center

The Dean E. Smith Center at UNC-Chapel Hill will be open to the general public for both Final Four matchups on Saturday — Kansas vs. Villanova at 6:09 p.m., and UNC vs. Duke at 8:49 p.m.

UNC students, faculty and staff with a UNC One Card ID can enter through Entry A at the Smith Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

The general public can enter through Entry A beginning at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.

Both Final Four games will be shown on a large projection screen and the arena’s video boards.

Concessions and merchandise will be available for purchase during the event.

Parking for fans is available for $5 in the Manning, Bowles and Craige parking lots on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus beginning at 4:30 p.m. Accessible, or ADA, parking is available in the Williamson lot for $5. Payments for parking are cashless — that means credit cards only — and can be made at the entrance to the lot. Find more information about parking on campus at move.unc.edu/parking.

Want to make a full day out of the Final Four excitement? The Carolina Basketball Museum, located in the Ernie Williamson Athletic Center, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Check it out before the game.

Duke watch party at Cameron Indoor only open to students

Members of the general public hoping to watch the Final Four game at Duke’s (much smaller) Cameron Indoor Stadium are out of luck.

The university’s viewing party will only be open to active students with a Duke ID.

The event is closed to the public and Duke staff, unless staff are working in Cameron during the event.
