Harnett County car crash kills driver and injures 3 more on Friday night

A three-car crash in Harnett County killed one person and injured three more on Friday night, ABC 11 reported.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. on Long Branch Road in Dunn.

Investigators told ABC 11 that a silver Ford Fusion traveling west hit a Toyota Highlander, causing it to roll over and collide with a Kia Optima. The passenger of the Kia was ejected from the windshield.

The driver of the silver Ford was killed at the scene. The rest of the drivers and passengers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Harnett County Highway Patrol Office was unable to be reached for comment on Saturday morning.
