Chantal caused flooding in parts of the Triangle. Here are photos of the aftermath

Hours of heavy rain from Chantal Sunday and into Monday caused major flooding, especially along creeks and rivers in Orange, Durham and Chatham counties.

Authorities report evacuations and water rescues along the Eno and Haw Rivers, with at least 80 rescues in a townhome community in Durham.

Multiple homes and businesses were flooded in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro.
