Two shot, one killed in Raleigh nightclub shooting early Sunday morning

Two men were shot at a Raleigh nightclub early Sunday morning and one of them later died, according to police.

Police say they were called to the Patio Nightclub off New Bern Avenue at 3:34 a.m., where they found the two men with gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to a hospital, where one later died.

The second man’s injuries did not appear to be life threatening, according to police.

Police say they have not made any arrests. They have not released any details, including the names of the two men or a description of a possible suspect.

The Patio Nightclub is in the Beacon Plaza shopping center, in the 3900 block of New Bern Avenue near Corporation Parkway.
