News & Observer subscribers can now gift articles to friends and family
Keeping Triangle residents informed is at the heart of our mission, and now there’s a seamless way to extend that reach. Our valued subscribers can now “gift” up to 10 articles each month to share insights and inspiration with others who have not yet subscribed.
Starting today, News & Observer subscribers can share 10 articles a month — giving other readers complimentary access to our award-winning reporting, local news, opinion articles and more.
How article gifting works:
- Subscribers will find a “Gift this article” button at the top of stories on newsobserver.com. (This feature will be coming to our mobile apps soon.)
- Clicking the button expands a menu that allows you to choose how you wish to gift the article. You can copy the link, or open share tools to email, text or post on social media.
- Anyone who clicks on the gift link can access that article for free.
- Subscribers can gift up to 10 articles a month. The countdown resets on the first day of each month.
