Memorial stair climb honors victims of 9/11 attacks

First responders, students and community members gathered early Thursday morning for a memorial stair climb at Kenan Memorial Stadium to honor the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. Participants climbed 2,071 stairs in honor of the first responders who ascended the stairs of the World Trade Center towers on that day.
