Durham County deputies investigating after 1 found fatally shot on Guess Road

The Durham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a victim after a shooting on Guess Road on Nov. 2, 2025.

Durham County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting after a 28-year-old man was found dead outside a business early Sunday.

Deputies responded after 8 a.m. to the 6100 block of Guess Road in northern Durham and found 28-year-old Alberto Flores dead from a gunshot wound, according to a news release.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating but has not released the name of the business or any information on a possible suspect or motive in the shooting.
