Next summer, Raleigh gets a surprise visit from the biggest, loudest, most swaggering over-the-top stadium rock act in history — complete with a fresh appetite for destruction and what is sure to be an epic traffic jam.

Guns N’ Roses announced they will play Carter-Finley Stadium on July 23, the band’s first tear through Raleigh since the We’re F’N Back! Tour in 2021.

Adding to fan excitement is a pair of fresh tunes from the Axl Rose-led crew: “Nothin’” and “Atlas,” which come out next month.

Diehards may want to join the 2026 tour in Los Angeles, where Gn’R will play a stint at the Rose Bowl for the first time in 30 years.

But all that is needed to share Carter-Finley with Slash & Co. is to register for the ticket presale by Dec. 1 before the sale starts at 10 a.m. on Dec. 3. The link is here: https://signup.ticketmaster.com/gunsnroses.

Considering Carter-Finley’s 56,000 seating capacity and its history of traffic snarls, fans will be wise to come early. Many Chris Brown concert-goers missed the show altogether earlier this fall. Not exactly Paradise City.

But if any band offers an entertaining parking lot scene, it’d be Guns N’ Roses. Fun in the Jungle.
