An 18-year-old pedestrian died in Durham Thursday night after being struck by a car while crossing Guess Road, police said Friday.

Iazias Davis of Durham was crossing at the 3700 block of Guess when he was struck by a southbound 2017 Honda Accord.

Davis was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital soon after the crash. A juvenile passenger suffered minor injuries in the car.

Police have not filed any charges, but their investigation continues.
