Raleigh man hit, killed on Louisburg Road
A man was struck and killed as he attempted to cross Louisburg Road near Interstate 540 early Wednesday morning, according to Raleigh police.
Ryan William Cepeda was not in a crosswalk when he tried to cross Louisburg Road between Sinclair Drive and Spring Forest Road at about 5:10 a.m., according to a police report. Cepeda was hit by a northbound SUV going 45 mph, then hit again by a second SUV as he lay on the pavement.
Neither driver was cited.
Police say Cepeda lived on Wenesly Court, about a mile from where he died.
