Cary motorcyclist killed in collision with passenger vehicle, police say

Cary police said the collision took place around 10 p.m. Friday at the intersection of N.C. Highway 55 and Edgemore Avenue.

A Cary motorcyclist was killed in a crash off N.C. Highway 55, according to the Cary Police Department.

Police and fire responded around 10 p.m. to a crash involving a motorcycle and passenger vehicle at the intersection of N.C. Highway 55 and Edgemore Avenue, police said Friday night. There, they found the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

The driver of the passenger vehicle stayed and cooperated with authorities, police said. Police did not have an update on their investigation as of Saturday morning.
