3 adults, 1 child injured in airport shuttle crash on Glenwood Avenue

Four people were hospitalized after an airport shuttle crash near Raleigh-Durham International Airport Saturday, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

Officers responded to the crash at 3:02 p.m. in the 9400 block of Glenwood Avenue near Lumley Road, Raleigh police said. Two vehicles were involved, one of which was a Fast Park shuttle.

Two of the crash victims have life-threatening injuries, Raleigh police said. The other two, one of whom was a juvenile, are expected to survive their injuries.

Fast Park is a private park-and-ride company with 15 locations, including in Raleigh. No RDU vehicles were involved in the crash, RDU said.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area while Raleigh police investigate the crash.
