Public asked to help identify Raleigh high-rise burglars

Police are asking the public to help them identify two men and a woman who they say burglarized a 23rd-floor apartment at the Skyhouse building at 308 S. Blount St. in late July.

The trio – a white man, a black man and a white woman – made off with a painting, police said.

All the suspects are believed to be in their 20s, police said.

A security camera captured images of them leaving, with one of the men carrying the painting.

Police did not describe the painting or disclose its value.

Anyone who believes they know the identity of one or more of the suspects or who has other information that might help detectives was asked to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at 919-834-HELP (4357) or visit raleighcrimestoppers.org for text and email reporting options. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
