Robber targets Raleigh motel

Police were looking Thursday for a man with a gun who held up a Motel 6 on Wednesday evening and fled.

The man went into the motel at 2641 Appliance Court about 7:20 p.m., showed the gun to an employee and left on foot with money, police were told.

No one was hurt in the robbery, police said.
