Angel Nichole Bradford had been charged with killing her father, Christopher Layne Bradford Jr., who was wounded in what police called a domestic dispute at an apartment complex on March 19, 2016.

The incident took place on Lasky Court, during an argument between Angel Bradford and her boyfriend, police said. Christopher Bradford arrived and was shot as the arguing continued.

Police said Angel Bradford then barricaded herself inside the apartment with the gun for about an hour and that a crisis team intervened before she surrendered to police. They initially charged her with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Christopher Bradford died on Sept. 24, 2016, at age 41.

Bradford’s case was dismissed Oct. 9, 2017, court documents show.
